Shikhar Dhawan Divorce Has Granted From His Wife After 11 Years Of Marriage

Cricketer Shikhar Dhawan divorce has been granted from his wife, Aesha Mukerji, by a family court in Delhi. The court decided in Dhawan’s favor, stating that Aesha had caused him mental suffering. The judge, Harish Kumar, accepted Dhawan’s claims in his divorce request because Aesha did not contest them.

The judge noted that Aesha had made Shikhar Dhawan live separately from their son for a long time, causing him emotional pain. The court did not make permanent custody decisions but allowed Dhawan visitation rights with his son in India and Australia, including video calls.

The court also ordered Aesha to bring their child to India for visits, including overnight stays with Dhawan and his family during school vacations. They also acknowledged Dhawan’s request to the Indian government to help with the custody issue in Australia due to his cricketing commitments.

According to Shikhar Dhawan divorce, Aesha initially agreed to live in India but couldn’t because of her prior commitments in Australia, where she lives with her two daughters and a son from her previous marriage. Aesha did not contest these claims.

The court also ruled in Dhawan’s favor regarding Aesha allegedly forcing him to share ownership of properties in Australia that he bought with his own money. Aesha did not contest these claims.

Regarding defamatory messages sent by Aesha to cricket authorities and IPL team owners, she claimed it was to ensure her monthly maintenance payments were made on time. However, the court rejected her claim and ruled that she had sent these messages to pressure and humiliate Dhawan. The court also accepted Dhawan’s claim that Aesha quarreled with him when he took time off to care for his father when he had COVID-19.

After Shikhar Dhawan divorce, Aesha had also requested financial support for her daughters in Australia, leading to increased monthly payments from Dhawan.
