On Day 33, Jawan Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan’s Blockbuster Leads Pathaan by Almost Rs 100 Crore

The film “Jawan,” starring Shah Rukh Khan, continues to perform exceptionally well at the Jawan box office collection, solidifying its position as the top Bollywood movie of all time. Globally, the movie has earned almost Rs 1120 crore. Despite being in theaters for over a month and facing competition, “Jawan” still manages to earn more than Rs 1 crore a day.

On its 33rd day since release, Jawan Box Office Collection is estimated to have made Rs 1.05 crore in India across all languages, primarily in Hindi. On its fifth weekend, “Jawan” added Rs 6 crore to its already record-breaking collection, which now stands at Rs 625 crore, including Rs 1 crore from Monday. “Jawan” is the first Hindi movie to cross the Rs 600 crore mark, establishing itself as the highest-grossing Bollywood film in history.

The only question now is whether it can widen the gap between itself and “Pathaan” to Rs 100 crore. “Pathaan,” released earlier in the year, became the biggest Hindi movie in India with Rs 543 crore, only to be surpassed by “Jawan Box Office Collection.” Directed by Atlee, the film aimed for pan-India success but earned around Rs 60 crore from the Tamil and Telugu versions. The movie also featured Tamil stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in significant roles.

“Jawan” set multiple records during its run, including the biggest opening day, opening weekend, and opening week for a Hindi film. It also became the fastest Hindi movie to reach major box office milestones. Globally, “Jawan” is now the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film ever, with a total gross of Rs 1117 crore, trailing behind “KGF: Chapter 2,” “RRR,” “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion,” and “Dangal.”

Shah Rukh Khan returned to acting after a nearly five-year break with “Pathaan” and continued the momentum with “Jawan.” It remains to be seen if he can maintain his success with “Dunki,” set to release around Christmas and directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film is expected to offer a change of pace from the big-budget action of “Pathaan” and “Jawan.”
