Actor Anushka Sharma and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, are expecting their second child, according to a report by Hindustan Times. Anushka is believed to be in her second trimester.
An inside source revealed to Hindustan Times that the couple plans to make a formal announcement about the pregnancy at a later time. Anushka and Virat already have a daughter named Vamika, born in January 2021.
In recent times, Anushka has shifted her focus to parenting, taking a step back from her production house duties. Sources suggest that her absence from the public eye is a deliberate choice to avoid unnecessary speculation.
Anushka Sharma has not been seen in public for a while, and she has refrained from accompanying Virat Kohli to his cricket matches, which is a departure from her usual routine.
Reports indicate that the couple was seen at a maternity clinic in Mumbai, where they requested that photographers refrain from publishing their pictures until they make an official announcement.
Anushka and Virat have consistently been cautious about protecting their child’s privacy, refraining from sharing her photos online. In the past, Virat Kohli stated that they have decided not to expose their child to social media until she can make her own choice.
