The Archies First Song – Sunoh
The debut song of The Archies, titled “Sunoh,” highlights Agastya Nanda, seen jamming with his friends. Suhana Khan is shown traveling to Riverdale, where she skates around, while Khushi Kapoor is observed cycling through the same place. The song “Sunoh” is sung by Dot, Shivam Mahadevan, and Tejas, with lyrics penned by Javed Akhtar. Ankur Tewari and The Islanders composed the music for the song.
Suhana Khan Spotted at Vikram Fadnavis’ Birthday Party
In Mumbai, Suhana Khan was seen leaving Vikram Fadnavis’ birthday celebration on Monday night, October 23. Accompanying her was Zoya Akhtar, the director of her upcoming movie, The Archies. Also present at the event were Agastya Nanda, along with his mother Shweta Bachchan and sister Navya Naveli Nanda.
Later, Suhana Khan and Zoya Akhtar left the gathering, followed by Agastya Nanda and his sister Navya Naveli Nanda.
Zoya Akhtar Reflects on Creating an Adaptation
In an interview with Film Companion, Zoya Akhtar shared, “When I was approached for this adaptation, I didn’t want to modernize it. Firstly, Riverdale has already done it. Secondly, it’s not how I remember Archies. For me, Archies represents a simpler, more innocent, and gentler time, where less is more. I aimed to revisit that essence. My goal was to capture the spirit of the comic and make it relevant for today’s young adults.”
